Wood Firing

We had to stop working on our kiln because we have our show in Washington DC in October, so we have been making pots recently. We had a wood firing at STARworks this weekend. Started preheating from Friday midnight, and Takuro started stoking wood from Saturday 4am. Santiago, Kacy, Wayne-san and Hitomi were on firing shift. We could finish up firing on Sunday 7am and it was 27 hours wood firing (not include preheating hours). Thank you so much for your help and support. Kiln unloading will be this weekend. Can't wait to see. Now, it's time to go back to wood kiln building.

I'm enjoying the blog, but haven't had time to thank you for all the great posts. Now that we have high speed internet I can cruise through all the posts and pictures! Good luck, can't wait to see the pots!
