Unloading kiln

We took down door bricks and unloaded kiln on Saturday morning. Looked like cone 10 down and 11 half everywhere evenly. Many people came to help us. Thank you!

That looks like a good firing. Nice to see that kiln at work, isn't it?

Thank you for your comments.

This firing was really successful and we have got many good results. Also we used STARworks Ceramics new clay body, NC local cone 10 red clay and it came out really good. We keep experimenting slip decorations (Kobiki) on it and hope we can have more different and nice results.

Everything looks great you guys. We were glad to hear that the kiln performed well for this firing. Things will only get better from hear. You are starting to season the kiln and every firing should give better results. The pots look stunning as always. We hope that the Cape Fear show goes real well for you both. Good Luck with everything!!
